This process is a better way to remove germs, but it also means that the area is not scrubbed; so if there is a stain or spill it will disappear.
 

Sanitizing

This is a process that either uses chemical or cleaning to accomplish it. It is when you are reducing almost all of the bacteria on a surface but on the downside; not all germs are attacked. This process is usually not good for removing viruses that may be lingering on the surface but it is a better option than cleaning when you are wanting to have an area sterilized.
